Bahrain Airport Company’s Aviation Marketing team is actively seeking a suitable candidate to plan, produce, analyze and provide the essential extensive range of statistical, economical and marketing information and data in a professional layout that suits the international aviation industry and essential for the successful Marketing and expansion of Bahrain’s aviation industry and the positioning of Bahrain International Airport at the forefront of Middle East Aviation.

THE MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Managing and making available, the comprehensive data base of market intelligence and statistical information,   specific to the requirement of Bahrain Airport company , Bahrain International Airport, Airport Service providers, airlines, and all other   segments of the industry in Bahrain, the Region and Internationally.
  • Managing the essential network interface and systems for the collection of all relevant information from   various Aviation and Non-Aviation sources as necessary.
  • Preparing short and long term forecasting.
  • Preparing regular monthly and   annually comprehensive statistical and airlines trend reports, covering all   key aspects of Aviation related business at BIA. Participating in the development and establishment of the system, necessary for the gathering of   the statistical information.
  • Coordinating with high level agencies to get the information required and analyze it by applying highly   technical tools and methods and creativity customizing it for internal, local   and international users such as Airlines, Travel Industry, ICAO, IATA, ACI, AACO, GCC General Secretary and other International Organizations and   Government Ministries.
  • Analyzing the statistical and marketing information to identify trends in key aviation business areas and   participating in developing the appropriate marketing response to New Opportunities and Areas of concern/Airlines in decline. Participating in the preparations of specific customized Marketing Proposals, targeting key decision-makers in potential customers, e.g. Airlines, Freight, Forwarders logistics operators, etc.
  • Conducting comprehensive highly technical statistical economical, marketing studies at Airports in the region, for the purpose of ensuring a competitive advantage for Bahrain  International Airport.
  • Developing and introducing innovative new ways of improving and streamlining, all aspects of the   exchange of gathering and providing all the statistical data.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/ EXPERIENCE :

  • B.Sc. in Statistics and mathematics or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the field of statistics and market information
  • Excellent command of English and Arabic language, both written and spoken
