QUANTITY SURVEYOR
THE MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
• To provide all necessary cost management input for various projects assigned to position holder including; Preparation of cost estimation, preparation of bill of quantities, preparation of tender documents in coordination with the engineers, documentation and reporting and keeping an excel data base of costs.
• Assisting in the preparation of tender documentation, tender evaluation reports, cost management during the life of the project, preparation of final accounts.
• Assisting in the capture off and record costs for all projects and build up estimating data-base.
• Operating internal tender evaluation procedures to verify the correct operation of BAC procedures reporting any findings to Sr. Quantity Surveyor.
• Assessing and managing variations and change orders Timely agreement of Final Accounts within agreed timescale.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
• Hold a BSc in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in similar position
