Looking for a professional Pattern Maker to kick start my team.
Role description
• Ability to create & mass cut womenswear patterns
• In depth understanding of female figure & pattern making
• Ability to adapt design concepts in to 3d + flat pattern
• Manage filing of patterns, flat 3d
• Research various patterns + trends & keep up to date on latest trends & techniques
• Ability to brainstorm in design meetings, research & look in to new concepts according to the collection brief & direction
• Liaise with design team
• Manage team schedule & meet daily delivery deadlines
• Organize stock & team supplies + inventory
• Quality control
• Ability to minimize wastage of fabric
• Create collection samples + any modifications
• Fittings
• Grading
• Detail finishing’s for samples & manufacturer
• Schedule season collection work load & deliver (pattern, sample, manufacturer)
• Manage quality control of final product
• Liaise with manufacturers & manage quality control
